The Ultimate Collection is a box set by American recording artist Michael Jackson.It was released on November 16, 2004 by Epic Records and consists of four audio CDs and one DVD.The album sold 57,000 copies in 2004 only, and on May 16, 2013, it was certified Platinum as a multi-disk package by Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for physical shipments of 200,000 copies. His mother, Katherine Esther Jackson (née Scruse), played clarinet and piano, had aspired to be a country-and-western performer, and worked part-time at Sears. Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana, near Chicago, on August 29, 1958.
